Judge Peter Cahill said earlier this week that the timing of the settlement was "unfortunate" and he wished city officials would stop publicly discussing the criminal case for former officer Derek Chauvin. On Wednesday, March 17, Cahill dismissed two jurors who been previously selected, after they said they had heard about the settlement.
