bemidjipioneer – Nimo Khalif, 33, made international headlines in January when she sent out an emotional call for help after her six children were removed from her custody on Jan. 22 by Polk County Social Services. Hundreds of local Somali people have attended Khalif’s court hearings to show their support of the mother.
