bemidjipioneer – I read about the Beltrami County Commissioners’ decision to ban refugee resettlement in the county. From what I read, this decision was not based on experience since refugees have not moved to the county. Was the decision based on ignorance and fear? As someone said, “segregation and separation teach us very powerful things without saying anything.”
