bemidjipioneer – For 21 years, the painting hung in a pole barn at the home of Larry and Denise Walton, relegated there because it didn’t match Denise’s color scheme of their Pelican Lake home. Larry purchased the painting in 1980 for $60 at a fair in Alaska, only to learn this summer it was created by a very well known artist.
