Area hunters have their voices heard as DNR’s final deer population goals for local zones are set

ALEXANDRIA, Minn. — The Department of Natural Resources has set its deer population goals for much of northwestern and western Minnesota, and the final results of the plan locally are to decrease the number of deer in many permit areas — although not by as much as first recommended.
