By the time the Minnesota Gophers play their first game with her at the helm, it will be nearly 20 years since new head coach Piper Ritter first arrived on campus to pitch for the U of M. Known as an expert with pitchers, Ritter inherits a Gophers team coming off its most successful run a year ago and led by an ace on the mound.
