bemidjipioneer – Abby Loeffler of Bemidji was recently sworn in by the Florida Bar Association and is now licensed to practice law in the state of Florida. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Minnesota Duluth and her Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. She served as a teachers assistant for legal writing and appellate advocacy. She was also the senior managing editor of Florida‘s journal of international law. Upon graduation in May of 2018, Loeffler was awarded a pro bono certificate of excellence for completing over 70 hours of pro bono work. Prior to joining the firm Eraclide Gelman she clerked at a civil litigation law firm where she was introduced to the claimants side of Workmen’s Compensation claims. Additionally, she completed a judicial externship in the civil and appellate division of Florida‘s eighth judicial circuit court. Loeffler started with Eraclides Gelman in Jacksonville, Fla. as a law clerk during her final semester of law school. She currently focuses her practice there in workers compensation.
