North Dakota will start to open the ‘black box’ on prescription drug prices with new transparency law

Drug makers, health insurers and others will have to start reporting prescription drug pricing information under a new law that takes effect in North Dakota on Aug. 1. More than a dozen states, including Minnesota, have passed drug price transparency laws as states act to restrain skyrocketing drug costs.
