Time for rural Minnesota to write its 'own' narrative

bemidjipioneer – University of Minnesota educators Neil Linscheid and Ben Winchester are diving into economic and demographic data on rural communities and discovering the facts don’t support the narrative of rural decline. Linscheid told members of the Yellowstone Trail Alliance of Western Minnesota that rural Minnesota needs to tell its own story. “If you don’t own your story, somebody else will,” he said.
