Frazee, Detroit Lakes, Wolf Lake and Vergas firefighters battled a large blaze for nearly 6 hours at a large hog containment building outside of Frazee on Friday night, July 9. All farm personnel were evacuated from the building, but up to 7,500 hogs were killed due to fire and smoke inhalation, according to a law enforcement incident report.
